The purpose and goal of the ADA/BID is to further improve the economic conditions of Aberdeen's

The Board of Directors are volunteers with a broad range of interests and backgrounds. Board members are appointed by the mayor and are directly connected to the core area. The board members are property owners, residents, business operators or users of space within the business area to be improved.

The ADA/BID consists of four specific committees to which they are responsible: Parking, Design and Appearance, Events and Promotions, and Business Recruitment and Development. The committees meet monthly, and Aberdeen residents are encouraged to attend and join a committee.

Parking Committee: The objective of the Parking Committee is to analyze Downtown’s parking needs and recommend changes to the City of Aberdeen.
